I see first hand, and know all to well what death and dying is. No government will tell me to continue to suffer, continue to lay in a bed while I struggle for that one last breathe. Dr. Jack Kevorkian is ultimately a hero. Not just merely for assisting in helping a terminal patient’s suffering, but because he is fighting for what he believes in, his costumes to symbolically poke fun at what you and others like you have turn our court sytem into, you and others like you, and you the same blind and ignorant political puppets that unfortunately run this country.. While so many citizens are either wrapped up in there own live’s or the live’s of celebrities, or too worried about filling out all those forms for the HMOs, how about we think about the patient, treat them with DIGNITY! HUMANITY! What about my “rights”?… How about what the U.S Constitution clearly states IN THE NINTH AMENDMENT?? DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE U.S. CONSTITUTION IS?? DID YOU RESEARCH BEFORE YOU TRIED TO DISHONOR THIS MAN’S GOOD NAME?… This is larger than most people will ever understand in their whole life time.. The fact he is putting his own life on the line to help all others… While we continue to put humanity on hold. Dr. Jack Kevorkian has my full vote and support!!! It is time for change, time to get these fools out of office.. YOU SAY killer. I SAY HERO, ANGEL OF MERCY, SELFLESS, COURAGIOUS, SELF- ACTUALIZED!!! We meaning this government and this country kill all the time. We bomb cities where innocent people are murdered. We are no better then those Jihad jags who do the same. So we have sick people who can’t take the pain anymore and want to die. But law states it’s murder and is illegal. Now how can one be ok and the other not. Those who were murdered by our government had nothing wrong with them. But if Charlie has a brain tumor that no operation will fix why should he live if he chooses not to.

All I know is that it’s my choice to do what I wish with my body. No government is going to tell me I have to suffer while I’m lying in bed suffering. Just like with my grandma years back who had cancer through out her entire body. They had her on Demerol and some other pain med. She couldn’t talk because she was so high and still in pain. She suffered and my grandmother didn’t deserve to die like that. We put animals down when they are dieing why not people.

I’ll tell you why. Hospitals get rich off of the dieing and ill. If they can keep you in the hospital while your dieing they will make 100′s of thousands of dollars. And not only them but the drug manufacturers as well. Pretty sad when people make money off of you dieing. But I hope he wins and that people are smarter now then back then. And with the new health care bill people will surely be dieing because that to is a joke. So those who can’t get help could run to Mr. Jack and be done with it all.

Calling him a serial killer, is quite insulting. Is he now Ted Bundy?? No, he is someone who is compassionate, to the pain and suffering of others. We don’t allow dogs, cats, horses, etc to suffer, we put them out of their misery. Why is it ok for us, to allow our fellow human beings, who are terminally ill, and suffering, in pain not of us can imagine, and hopefully never will. It’s all about money.

To the original author of this biased article, I hope you never have to suffer like somone who has bone cancer. You will be begging for them to end you life, but they won’t , because they don’t want to be considered a serial killer.

See I live in Detroit Michigan and one of my best friends was one of those 130 people that Dr. Jack helped. Tom was in horrible pain and was slowly slipping away because of a tumor in his brain, so he acked Dr. Jack to help him out of the pain and Tom got what he wanted.

leave the man alone I fully support him. He didnj’t kill people he let them put themselfs out of their pain, he would give them the button to push and they decided when they wanted to end their own pain. I think he is a brilliant man and would be a great choice for congress.

Yes he went to prison for killing someone (not people) but that doesn’t mean that he didn’t do the right thing. He would not have been convicted if he didn’t air it on CBS..even so, assisting in suicides (which are painless and you go out with some sense of dignity, rather than maybe choking on your own spit) for chronically and terminally ill people who go to you for help is hardly viable for the term Serial Killer.
