Ronald Reagan Encourages Change
For all those Reagan Democrats, something to think about.
Actually it was the Reagan administration with its union busting and industry deregulation that put into motion the economic disasters we are experiencing today. It has taken decades for the GOP to dismantle and destroy those safe guards put into place by the Roosevelt administration. Unfortunately, today we have no one of the caliber of Roosevelt to come up with a solution.

Reagan’s famous question about the prosperity and peace of the nation is more appropos today than back then when the Great United States of America was touted as that mythical shining city on the hill. Sadly, since those glorious Reagan days his own republican party has been systematically tearing down everything that once made this country great. A close look at Reagan’s shining city in 2008 reveals a dead city with high unemployment rates and street after street of boarded up and deserted family homes, foreclosure signs standing on their front lawns.
